¡ö Changchun High Technology Development Zone

Changchun High Technology Development Zone is situated at the southern part of the city. It covers a total area of 49 km2. Within the zone, one can find 18 full-time universities and colleges, 39 state and provincial-level scientific research institutions, 11 key national laboratories, 28 commissioners (from the State Department of Science and Technology) and academicians (from the China Science Academy and China Engineering Academy).

¡ö Changchun Jingyue Pond Tourist And Economic Development Zone

The Changchun Jingyue Pond Tourist and Economic Development Zone is a provincial-leveled project approved by the Jilin Provincial Government. Within the zone, there are key national tourist spots including the national forest park and a holiday resort.

The Jingyue Pond is one of the first few tourist spots to be accorded with an AAAA rating by the nation. It covers a water area of 4.3 kms as well as the largest man-made forest in Asia, spanning an area totaling 80 kms. With natural resources such as land, forest and minerals in rich abundance, the Jingyue Pond provides an excellent potential for future developmental projects. The Jingyue Pond is truly a "bright pearl" in the northern part of China.

The various industries within the development zone are also taking shape. ¡ö Changchun AutoMotive Economic Trade And Evelopment Zone

Founded in 1993, the Changchun Automotive Trade Center was re-established as the Changchun Automotive Economic Trade And Development Zone in 1996 with the approval of the Jilin Provincial Government.

Within the development zone, there is an exhibition center and five specially demarcated industrial centers. The famous Changchun Automobile Wholesale Center, which began its operations in 1994, is co-established and managed by the China Ministry of Domestic Trade and the Changchun Municipal Government. It is the largest auto-vehicle and spare parts wholesale center in China and is streamlined for inclusion into the national product market development plan.

The other three remaining centers include a resale center for used auto-vehicles, a specialized center for industrial/commercial vehicles of other makes and a tyre wholesale center

¡ö Changjiang Road Development Zone For Computer & Technological Merchandises

Changjiang Road Development Zone for Computer & Technological Merchandises ( referred to as Changjiang Road Kaifaqu hereinafter ) was established on April 28, 1998.

Changjiang Road Development Zone takes the exchange of PC computer, office automation and telecommunication products as base, relying on the research and development of software, network engineering and information products.
On September 3, 2001, Jilin Provincial Government officially certified Changjiang Road Development Zone as a provincial level development zone.
